Hello Hello!

We are pleased and downright delighted to say that we have raised $5000 dollars for camp! Thank you all so so much!

We also received news that Ezgi can fly on her current passport BUT we also received her papers last week!!!! 2.5 years later… thank you for your prayers in this.

At the moment I think we have 20 people registered for camp which by Turkish standards is a GREAT start. They are very last minute people. Pray that more would be able to come, as our camp is in the middle of a work week unfortunately (booking dates didn’t line up great here).

We have about three weeks left in Canada before we head out and have the overall logistics planned and are going to be moving on to the leg work of things once we get to Turkey (speakers, game supplies etc). It’s very VERY exciting.

For those of you that follow the news, there was a second election (tie breaker) for the president and the country had very high hopes to be liberated from the present leader. Those hopes were smashed yesterday as the votes were counted and the current president continues for the next 5 years. The people are devastated and crushed. (I think I wrote about this in my other blog if you follow both). Between working conditions, inflation, earthquake fall out for the country and now a sentence of impending doom for the country, there is only hope that this is all for a reason and that a mighty wave will come and save these people. And we all know what that means and who that is. Pray for the people of the country, that they would look to the messiah for their salvation and not the powers of this world.
